Sad iPod

Sad news to report. My iPod video (bought it Feb) appears to have gone to iPod heaven. It was acting strangely so I returned it to the iTunes mother ship. There was a muffled scream when I connected the cable and I think the battery charging circuit fried. The "sad iPod" screen appeared briefly then the whole case got hot to the touch (and I mean hot!). I tried resetting but no luck...I'm afraid its gone... I suppose I'll get to see how good Apple service is when I return it to the Apple store later this week. I sure hope they remember to re-personalize it when they return it. Until then - no tunes for Louis :(
